Helping Depression Naturally - Amoryn
Posted by Administrator in Mental Health.AMORYN - Clinical Research – Hyperforin (from Hypericum) Proven to Relieve Depression and Anxiety in Clinical Trials: If you are concerned that AMORYN is too good to be true—another herbal miracle cure that’s more hype than help—then please take a few minutes to carefully read the information below. As you will see, clinical research strongly demonstrates that the Hypericum extract found in AMORYN, rich in hyperforin, is an effective and safe treatment for depression and anxiety.
All the studies discussed below were conducted at major universities and published in respected scientific journals within the past five years. This research represents only the most recent portion of the 30+ clinical trials proving the effectiveness of AMORYN’s main ingredient.
Note that the research below does not apply to most St. John’s wort formulas available in the United States, since these products contain poor quality extracts that are low in hyperforin (the active compound in St. John’s wort). Only AMORYN contains the same “pharmaceutical grade” St. John’s wort extract, standardized to 3-5% hyperforin, used in these clinical trials. This high concentration of hyperforin is responsible for AMORYN’s extraordinary success rate.
More Effective than Paroxetine (Paxil®) for Moderate to Severe Depression (2005) – New
Just recently completed in early 2005 and published in the British Medical Journal, this study1 examining 251 adults with moderate to severe depression again demonstrated the effectiveness of hyperforin-rich Hypericum extract (the main ingredient in AMORYN) for the treatment of depression. Patients were given either 900mg/day Hypericum extract (the dose found in two capsules of AMORYN) or 20mg/day paroxetine (the prescription antidepressant Paxil®) for six weeks. For patients who did not respond quickly, doses were doubled after two weeks. After six weeks, symptoms of depression decreased 57% in the group taking hyperforin-rich Hypericum and only 45% in the group taking… Read more
